As Head of Sales, you will be the driving force behind our commercial growth in Europe. You will develop and implement a future-oriented sales strategy, build lasting customer relationships and lead a multidisciplinary sales team. With your vision and leadership, you will take our commercial performance to the next level and actively contribute to Vacumetal's strategic course.
What will you be doing? Job role:
- Strategy & implementation: You will develop and implement the European sales strategy in line with our business objectives;
- Market development: You will identify new markets and customers, strengthen existing relationships and build long-term partnerships;
- Leadership: You will manage and coach the sales team and encourage collaboration with other departments;
- Turnover & margin: You will be responsible for turnover growth, monitoring margins and reporting to management;
- Innovation & positioning: You will link customer needs to product development and strengthen our market position.
Your responsibilities
Personnel
- Inspiring leadership of the sales team;
- Coaching, assessing and developing employees;
- Creating a culture of cooperation and results-orientedness.
Finance
- Drawing up and monitoring the sales budget;
- Analysing margin and turnover developments;
- Providing input for forecasts and strategic decision-making.
Sales
- Carrying out sales activities that lead to revenue growth and high margins;
- Maintaining and expanding customer relationships;
- Developing new markets and business models.
Reporting & advice
- Reporting monthly on sales results and trends;
- Translating data into concrete management information;
- Advising the MT on commercial strategy and market developments.
What makes you a strong fit for this role, based on your background and skills?
- Higher professional education (HBO/WO) level of working and thinking, preferably in business management;
- Extensive experience in international sales and managing multidisciplinary teams;
- Proven track record in customer development and revenue growth;
- Fluent in both Dutch and English, French is an advantage;
- Experience with MS Office and MS Business Central.
