What will you do?
As a Sales Assistant, you’ll be the commercial backbone of our sales team. You’ll help turn quotations into real business success.
Prepare, send, and follow up on quotations in collaboration with the Sales team
Coordinate the internal follow-up of new projects
Keep the sales administration accurate and well-organized
Maintain our website and LinkedIn page
Support the preparation of business fairs, customer visits, and (internal) events
What do you bring?
MBO 4 or HBO level of education (preferably in Sales or Account Management)
Proven experience in commercial back office or sales support
Fluent in both Dutch and English, spoken and written
Skilled in MS Office and ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft Business Central)
Strong communication skills, commercially driven and a hands-on mentality

Visit Mayor
On May 9th 2025 we had the pleasure of welcoming Mayor Gerdo van Grootheest, of Oosterhout Municipality and Arie Rietveld from Rietveld Logistics Group to Vacumetal. It was a great opportunity to share how our family business has evolved from the well-known “cap factory from Oosterhout” to a leader in advanced metallization and lacquering techniques.
Our company is managed by the second generation of Schuurmans; Gilbert and Jean-Paul. They lead a team of 140 skilled professionals who use state-of-the-art technologies to transform glass and plastic into customized products. We primarily supply high-end cosmetics and beverage brands throughout Europe. In recent years, we have also established ourselves as a global player in the world of sports awards with the company Champion Trophy Products and Krott Trophy Products.
